Geeks With Blogs

About Me:
I am a Female SharePoint Developer (a platinum unicorn). I have been working with SharePoint since I attended the Portal University in 2005. I hold a BA in Computer Science from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. I love playing Rockband, organizing user group meetings, working with code, attending events as a speaker or organizer, and having bizarre conversations about geek things with cool people. If you have any comments or questions fill out the contact form and I will try my best to help.

For the price of zero dollars and zero cents you can attend SharePoint Saturday Ozarks in Harrison, Arkansas.  I know a lot of you Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma people are always wondering when we will get more events out this way.  We had a ton this year with MOSS Camp St. Louis, SPS KC, SPS Tulsa, and now SPS Ozarks and SPS Dallas.  You guys can attend two events within a decent driving distance (Dallas and Harrison are not too far from each other).  Mike Watson, Laura Roger, Lori Gowin, Eric Shupps, Matt Bremer, Joy Earles, Mark Rackley, JD Wade, and then some.  Register at for SPS Ozarks.  Come on guys you know you want to do it.

"Come on guys you know you want to do it." Haha! That's right, all the cool kids will be there!

Was blown away by the quality of content at SPS Tulsa -- for free! A great mix of internationally recognized experts and regional "SharePoint School of Hard Knocks" graduates. Sessions tended to be around 25 participants, so there was plenty of interaction between speakers and attendees.

Think attendance in Tulsa was around 100 - in the middle of a blizzard. That's gotta say something!

Are you still doing Sharepoint training? This site is 2 years old so I'm curious. I am very interested in learning more about sharepoint 2007.
